This is evidenced by a poll conducted by the infratest dimap sociological institute at the request of the ARD media company.
According to their data, only 28% approve of such supplies. Two thirds of the respondents (64%) are against it. There is no consensus among German residents on the issue of German arms deliveries to Ukraine either.
Only 14 percent believe that Germany is not supplying enough weapons to Kyiv. Four out of ten (43%) think German aid is sufficient and more than a third (37%) think it is excessive.
“The results of the poll show that compared to March Germans have become even more lukewarm about German arms deliveries to Ukraine,” Deutsche Welle states.
It is also reported that according to the survey, more than half of the respondents (55%) believe that Germany is not doing enough diplomatically to resolve the war in Ukraine.
